The YPEER “Peer Education Network” concludes basic training for the network’s new affiliates

On Friday 10/7/2020, the YPEER concluded its series of intensive training with the new affiliates in the network.
The training included 25 young men and women from the city of Jerusalem, and the goal of the basic training is to introduce the network’s affiliates, goals, and field of work in Palestine in addition to the activities plan for 2020.
The training lasted for 5 days over a period of two weeks and the trainers touched on the following topics: (gender-based violence, sexually transmitted diseases, stigma, discrimination, equality).
The network coordinator in the Jerusalem area, Haneen Al-Qutub, said that the training is mainly aimed at engaging young people in the network’s community activities in the Jerusalem area and providing them with leadership skills.
