The Impact of Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society: Educational Achievements in Environmental and Creative Fields
We are pleased to share with you the role of Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society in implementing four inspiring awareness initiatives within “Forsa” project, which is supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The project aims to enhance awareness and empowerment in the community, and these pioneering initiatives reflect the center’s commitment to serving the community and promoting the values of sustainable development.
Firstly, we began with the initiative “My Environment, My School’s Environment, Are My Responsibility”, where students from Bab al-Silsila Boys’ School joined our efforts to enhance environmental awareness and preserve the school environment and its surroundings through awareness-raising activities and workshops.
We succeeded in motivating students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Secondly, in the initiative “My Environment, My Responsibility,” we continued to promote environmental awareness at “Rawa School” while continuing our efforts to motivate youth to contribute to building a sustainable and healthy community.
These initiatives were directed at vanguards in several schools to enhance their active participation in environmental conservation.
Thirdly, through the initiative “My Beautiful School,” we sought to enhance creativity and self-expression among female students at “Ali ibn Abi Talib Girls’ School”.
This initiative aims to develop the artistic and creative skills of the students and encourage them to express their ideas and feelings freely and innovatively.
Finally, we participated in the initiative “Clean Environment, Better Community”, where we collaborated with the vanguards of girls’ basketball in Burj Al-Luqluq to raise awareness of the importance of cleanliness in the neighborhood, school, and home.
This initiative aims to encourage community participation and raise awareness of the importance of a clean environment for the health and safety of everyone.
With these continuous and inspiring efforts, Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society reaffirms its steadfast commitment to enhancing awareness and empowerment in our community, and it strives to build a better future for the coming generations.
