Third Jerusalem Youth Forum Concludes with a Focus on “Enhancing Community Engagement”
A group of Jerusalem-based organizations concluded the Third Jerusalem Youth Forum under the theme “Enhancing Community Engagement”, held on Wednesday, November 6, at the Notre Dame Hall in Jerusalem. The forum was attended by over 150 participants, including officials, university students, partner organizations, implementing institutions, and youth groups.
The forum was implemented through a partnership between the Burj Al-Luqluq Social Center Society, Al-Saraya Center, YMCA, Arab Studies Society, Jusoor Kufr Aqab, Al-Quds University, PalVision, Al-Bustan Association, Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association, International Planned Parenthood Federation, De La Salle Club, Orthodox Scouts Group, Haret Al-Nassara Club, and supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Welfare Association.
At the conclusion of the forum, support agreements were signed for ten youth initiatives, which will be implemented in the coming period. Additionally, Al-Saraya Center announced three student scholarships for distinguished youth volunteers.
The forum is part of the Forsah Project, funded by the UNFPA, and aims primarily to empower youth by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to address issues in their communities. It also facilitates dialogue between youth and stakeholders, builds networks, and equips youth with opportunities and awareness.
